Project Overview: The Jingneng Hebei Kangbao Project is located in Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, about 120km away from Zhangjiakou City. The area belongs to the temperate and semi-arid zone of the East Asian continental monsoon climate, with cool summers and hot rain at the same time. The annual average temperature is 1.2 ℃. In addition, according to wind measurement results, the annual wind speed at a height of 10 meters is 5.82-7.5m/s, with an effective wind speed time of 7000-8000 hours. The wind power density is 255-480 watts/square meter, and the main wind direction is stable, reaching the national standard of four to seven levels. It is one of the areas with the best wind energy resources in the country.

This project serves as a supporting infrastructure for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and is also an important component of the Zhangjiakou Beijing 1200MW renewable clean heating project. The total installed capacity of the project is 450MW, with a total of 122 wind turbines, including 33 4.5MW mixed tower wind turbines.
